The biggest newspaper in Minnesota ran this ad in its Sunday edition.
It was placed by the anti-LGBT Minnesota Child Protection League in response to a proposed policy that would allow trans high school athletes to play on teams that correspond with their gender identity.
It reads: “A male wants to shower beside your 14-year-old daughter. Are YOU ok with that?” In a full-page ad.

homicidal---liu asked:

Liu huffed as walked though the woods. As he yawned he felt a presences watching his every move. He shivered as he tried to ignore it. He continued to walk. He passed a old house ,seemed to be abandon. But he took his rest at a beautiful lake. He stripped down to his boxer and jumped in. The water a perfect temperature. He heard a branch break and once again the eerie feeling of someone else....

/-Casually turns this into an Au where Despair is an Ethereal Being/Ghost in simplicity-/

≺☠≻ — Dreadfully boring.. It was. The days droned on, and there was no one for an everlasting eternity, the days had long since lost their numbers, and their length no longer mattered. A gentle, grey glow emanated from a being that was translucent in form, and his general color was that gentle grey, aside from fiery red eyes that stuck out like they were rubies that were molded and brought straight from hell. Something around him rippled and shifted, a soul of something he’d not sense or even been near in a long time, human. He went to the window of the old home he dwelled in as the male passed, and his lips form into a form, but his eyes did not match with their curious glint. His demonic like tail wagged slightly and his pointed ears twitched before he floated through the wall and followed after the boy, keeping distance so that he would not be noticed, until the male reached a cool, clear spring. The male watched with interest eyes.. What’s he doing? Is he drowning himself..? He’d never swam, or seen someone swim before. But when he saw the boy’s head arise to the surface once more he deduced that this was no attempted at suicide, so he continued to watch silently.

≺☠≻ — The ethereal creature’s eyes remained trained on the boy as he swam, watching his graceful movements even as he turned away to watch the sunset that Despair had hardly noticed, and he blinked as he looked at it, hearing Liu’s voice was astounding to Despair, he hadn’t heard any living creature speak for a very long time.. He liked the sound of it

Liu stretched then dove back under. His feet pointed straight up as his body sunk beneath the surface. Bubbles replaced the boy. Then muffled screams began to sound. He was stuck. His hand barely touching the top. He thrashed about trying to save himself. All he could think was,” I have gotta get loose.”

≺☠≻ — Despair’s crimson glowing eyes widened as the water splashed about where the boy had dove in, was he stuck? Despair’s tail twitched as he contemplated going to help him, and after a little while of the continuous flailing beneath the surface, he floated closer and dipped his hand into the water, chanelling energy into it so that it will become solid, he grabbed Liu’s hand once he found it, and pulled, hard, to bring him out of the water and to safety

Liu’s green eyes were a pale green. He coughed harshly trying to recover. He laid on his back and held despairs hand tightly. Grasping for air he whimpered. He kinda looked like a fish out of water
